Miss you cousin, Dee Dee. You were older than me but always so patient , friendly and fun with me. And of course you were a beauty. I hope you are with your mom and dad and all of you are smiling. God bless.

While the distance in miles and the passage of time, kept us from daily communications, I truly feel the pain of losing such a wonderful classmate and longtime acquaintance, that I have had the pleasure of knowing for nearly 60 years. As a fellow classmate of hers at the DuBois Junior High School on Scribner Avenue in DuBois, and then as ne of her classmates and fellow graduate of the DAHS class of 1963.

I remember well Dee being our head majorette, as well as being one of the most, if not the most beautiful girl in our class and school. I personally lost track of Dee, soon after we graduated, I married, she married, and then I relocated to Ormond Beach, Florida some 36 years ago. Sadly, I was totally shocked to find her obituary in the May 15th News-Journal, who was to know we were within a half hour drive of each other. I surely would have tried to make contact with her. Please know your late daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother was without a doubt one of the premier individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Our world is most definitely a better place for her having been here. I shall always remember her, and my prayers are with you all.
