He was the second child to Royce Beaverson and Jean (Cunningham) Beaverson. He married Nancy Rose Bradley of Sandusky, OH on January 30, 1971. Dennis is survived by his wife, Nancy, of The Villages, FL, his only son, Grant (Maura) Beaverson of Greenville, NC and his granddaughter, Kaylee Arlene Beaverson. Dennis is also survived by his three siblings, Royce A. (Ruth Ann) Beaverson of Bowling Green, OH, Dale Colleen (Rick) Schwab of North Baltimore, OH and Kristy (Jeff) Muir of Bowling Green, OH as well as his many nieces, nephews and cousins, including his special “Cuz”, Bob Newlove. Dennis was preceded in death by both of his parents, his loving grandmother, Thelma Cunningham, his favorite Aunt and Uncle Newlove and his best friend, Bob “Rat” Drury. Dennis was a 1964 graduate of Bowling Green High School and attended Bowling Green State University where he focused his efforts on history, production and business management, pool halls, nightclubs and parties alike. After finding himself, Dennis found a rewarding and lengthy career in retail. He spent years working for others before he and Nancy decided to go their own way. They started, operated, and co-owned Fashions “N” More, a small retail chain of ladies’ clothing stores, for 31 years in southwest Florida before retiring together in 2009 and then moving to The Villages in 2016. Dennis led a very active and enjoyable life surrounded by his wife, son, daughter-in law, family, and countless friends. His greatest joy was his newborn granddaughter. He loved to travel, play golf, fish, shoot pool, and just plain have fun. Never a day went by that Dennis didn’t have a smile on his face or a song in his heart. A Celebration of Dennis’s Life will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 2 to 6 pm. All family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate! Please contact Nancy for details.
