Obituary

Life Celebration will be 1:00 PM Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach.

Dina was born in Bemidji, Minnesota. She worked as a Registered Nurse, later as a corporate trainer for Chili’s Corporation and most recently completed her degree in cosmetology at Daytona State College.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents David and Dee Carlson, brother Derek, Maternal Grandmother Bernice Seward and paternal Grandmother Phyllis Carlson.

    Aunt Dina. You were always here for me growing up. We have many amazing memories together. Our last moments together I spent with you in Florida, you dyed and cut my hair for me. We got ice cream together and talked for hours. I am really glad I got to spend those moments with you one last time. I think about you all the time and miss you more than words can describe. I have butterfly’s that visit with me, that I still believe to this day is you checking in on me. Love you so much. -Kelsey.

    Oh Dina Marie.... every milestone of life I can remember, you were by my side. So much of who I am is because of your light in my life. That smile, that laugh, that spirit, touched everyone in the room. No matter what was happening, sickness, pain, you still looked on the bright side of every single moment. What an incredible warrior you were until the end. I will forever be changed by you for the best, and will never forget the joy you brought to my life. We miss you so much Auntie Dina.     Dina, my beloved and cherished Goddaughter. My memories of you are many...weekends spent with you and your family, playing with my girls, visiting me when my life turned upside down, dancing at Heather's wedding .. these seem like just yesterday. My heart is broken, but I'm blessed to now have 2 Angel daughter's watching from above. I will always love you!
