Obituary

Dolores Caprilozzi, 72, passed peacefully on the night of Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in the comfort of Lane Purcell Hospice House after a corageous battle with cancer and diabetes.

Born on May 15, 1945 in Connecticut, Dolores lived her younger years growing into a devoted mother of three sons. During their youth she moved to Florida where she would remain for the rest of her years. Later in life she obtained her CNA license and cared for many patients who loved her bright spirit and immense desire to make sure they were happy and healthy. She also took on the responsibility to raise her grandaughter from the age of 3. It is evident that her heart was always in the right place.

Dolores always had a smile for each person in passing and those who had the opportunity to hold a conversation with her would be seen smiling of her quick wit. She had many meaningful friendships and always put her family first.

Dolores is survived by her three sons Charles Caprilozzi, Michael Caprilozzi, and Brian Caprilozzi, and her grandaughter Jessica Caprilozzi. She is remembered by all of her loving friends and family. She touched so many lives and will be missed.

Dolores was such a lovely woman. Caring and helpful, ready with a quick smile and laugh.
My father, Gus, loved her dearly. He always said, she was so beautiful and "quick and funny" and that he loved that she made him laugh.
It was a shock to learn of her passing. Jessica, she loved you to the moon and back a million times. And was so proud of you!
To her son's, Charles, Michael and Brian, I am sorry for your loss.
    Dolores will be missed.

Gram - I love you so much and miss you already. We had so many great times. I remember taking long trips and we would sing to Patsy Cline, you were her voice and I did the backup singer. Whenever you would help me study for a test you would make a clever joke about it and we would laugh, and you know what, I always got those questions right! Even when I became an adult you were always there for me, my advocate. Every decision I made you supported me in every way, giving me advice but letting me figure it out on my own. Things wont be the same without you but you taught me so much about life that I can get through knowing you are with my soul. You are my guardian angel. ~Love you forever and always, Jess~
