Obituary
Donald E. Bush, 90, formerly of Sauquoit, NY passed away peacefully at his home in Lady Lake, FL with his family by his side.
Donald was born September 29, 1931 to Herman Elmer Bush and Marion Roscup of Remsen, New York. After graduating from Remsen High School, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war.
Donald worked for Mohawk Containers (Jefferson Smurfit Container Corporation) for 38 ½ years before retiring in 1992. After retirement, he stayed active by walking the New Hartford Shopping Center on a daily basis and mowed lawns with his kids. He later worked at Turning Stone Casino as an usher where he enjoyed assisting people. He always had a smile on his face and made friends wherever he went.
In 1981 Donald married the love of his life, Carol Baiamonte. Donald and Carol celebrated 40 years of marriage in September 2021.
He is survived by his bride Carol Bush, his son Michael and wife Christina of Whitesboro, New York, his son Justin and wife Lisa of Seattle, Washington, and daughter Andrea and husband Eugene Borodulin of Nashua, New Hampshire.
Donald also leaves behind his daughter Marlene and husband Kevin Gollegly of Herkimer, New York and son Donald and wife Anh Bush of Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
He also leaves behind grandson Kyle Gollegly and wife Lauren, granddaughter Alisha Peuser and companion Kyle, granddaughters Sophia and Adrianna Bush, Nora Bush, Liliana and Milabella Borodulin.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Donald is preceded by and will be joining his grandson in heaven, Ethan Andrew Bush
Donald will also be joining his siblings in heaven Bradley Bush, Arline Oyer, and Joy Serviss.
Donald will be missed by Daisy, his beloved Morkiepoo, who laid by his side until his very last day.
Donald will also be missed by his sister- in-law and brother-in-law Catherine and Nicholas Dardano who live next door to Donald and Carol.
