Donald Purinton of Edgewater, formerly of Nashua NH, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014. He was born on September 27, 1921 to the late Cyruns and Grace Purinton in Rumford, Maine. He attended Stephens high in Rumford, and Wentworth Institute in Boston, MA. He proudly served with the U.S. Army Air Corps for 3 years in England, and later worked for Sanders and Nashua Corp. in Nashua, NH, before owning several machine shops in Nashua. He retired in 1996. He was a member of the 388th Bomb Group, 560th Squadron, Timeless Wings and Wheels, and the American Legion. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce, daughter; Donna Allard of Edgewater, son; Richard Purinton of New Hampshire, nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Family & friends are invited to a graveside service to be held on Friday at 11AM at Edgewater Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Timeless Wings and Wheels, P.O. Box 506 New Smyrna Beach, FL 32170.
