Obituary

Donna Dee Brown passed away peacefully on the evening of September 3, 2019. Donna was born on May 20, 1937 to parents Clair William Brocious, and Mary Hannah Brocious nee’ Wells. She grew up in Pennsylvania later moving and settling down in Ocala, Florida. During her working years she was a proud Aerospace Technician for General Electric. In her spare time, she loved cooking, knitting, crocheting, arts and crafts and spending time with her loving family. She will be infinitely missed by all who knew her. Donna is survived by a large family that includes her daughters Karen Lee Kirkland, Lisa Gail Foy, Kimberly Ann Novak, and her son Mark Edward Buerk Sr. Donna was a loving grandmother who will be missed by all of her grandchildren: Mark Edward Buerk Jr., Matthew Kenneth Buerk, Nathan William Buerk, Steven Foy, Eric Michael Foy, Kyle Novak, Katy Novak, Kelsey Diane Peden, and Brittany Nicole Alexander. Donna was also blessed with great grandchildren including: Alivia Diane Lester, Noah Kenneth Buerk, Noelle Jamie Buerk, and Samantha Kay Buerk. She is also survived by her sisters Shirley Anne Barnes, and Monna Lee Murphy. Donna was predeceased by her loving husband James G. Brown who passed away in 2013.

Donna will be laid to rest on Friday September 13, 2019 at the St. Johns United Methodist Church Cemetery in Ocala Florida.

There will be a visitation at the Baldwin Brothers Chapel located at 11250 SW 93rd Court Road Suite 300 Ocala, FL. 34481 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A service for Donna will be held beginning at 1:00 pm at the same location. Procession to the cemetery will follow. The family of Donna Brown wishes to thank all those who have offered support, and kindness during this difficult time.
