Obituary

Donna Mae Giesie, 85, of North Fort Myers, passed away July 20, 2021 at Hope Hospice House, in Cape Coral, FL. Born May 09, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI., she was the daughter of William Meyer and Clara Glaser and was proceeded in death by her beloved husband Ralph Giesie and survived by her children Michael Giesie, Mark Giesie and Mary Schantzen. Additional information is forthcoming from the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Donna’s memory, may be made to Hope Hospice Care, North Fort Myers, FL.     So sorry for your loss. Donna always had a smile on her face when she pasted by our house on her golf cart taking her puppy for a walk. Even though I didn’t know her that well, she will be missed on our street.

    A truer friend will never be found then you! We go back to 1986 when I moved to Wis. Ralph was Larry's Boss. We lost touch for a few years then Ralph appeared at our cabin. From that point on we did Friday Night Fish fry a few times a month. I loved your home on Shell Lake, it was a total class act. Just like you have always been. I remember asking you if you would care if I decorated my place like it? Sherry, You & I went to S Dakota looking for items, then many Indian powwows. We visited you in Fl. Then we either called each other or messaged on Facebook. We both knew how the other would feel about lives events. I will miss you my friend. When your name is mentioned it will always put a smile on my face. You were the BEST.

    Auntie, you will always be close to my heart. I have so many fond memories of all the fun and love from back in the day. You are all together again. I'm sure you and my Dad are laughing.
