She was a difficult person, but that´s why I loved her so much. She´s the opposite of what I am. She always spoke her mind about everything. If there’s one you know you’d get from grandma Donna is her opinion. Shes always gonna be a person I look up too, just knowing how hard her life in general was an she still fought so hard to push through, I’ve always been a scared person, nothing like grandma was, she was always so fearless. I miss the way her hugs feel, the way her perfume smells. I miss the way her hair feels when I was brushing an braiding it like how she did when I was a small girl, she had the softest hair it was so beautiful. I never realized the loop was finished. I’m finally grown an the one braiding. What I would do to go back just once to when I was the one getting my hair braided by her. Grandma Donna told me something when I was young and staying in the mountains with her for the summer. I remember being in her bed with all my toys an old Elmo´s all around on her shelves, I never understood why she loved them so much when I didnt like them anymore. But I remember her telling me, that when she was gone an no where to be found. That she´d be all around me in just in the air that´d she´d ALWAYS be watching an taking care of us. It brings some comfort but god I wish I could give her one last hug.
