Obituary
Donnie Lee Snider
Beloved daughter to Noah and Effie Webster, wonderful and loving mother to Gary D. Snider. Loving mother-in-law, to Lisa Holton-Snider
Grandmother to William Holton-Snider and great grandmother to Emma Holton-Snider and to her grandchild whose birth is anticipated in January 2025.
Donnie was born in a house in Detroit Michigan in 1936. She graduated high school at Fordson HS in Dearborn, Michigan. Donnie then went on and received her Bachelor’s, and her Master’s Degree from UD Mercy. She worked for more than 50 years as a dental hygienist in Dearborn, Michigan. Donnie was a very Christian woman, very active in her church. She loved to travel and loved lighthouses. She adored spending time with her grandson, her son Gary, and his wife Lisa and also had a love for animals; she always had at least one dog by her side. She loved Lisa‘s mother Veronica and her dearest closest friend Ann Knox; they were like sisters. She had a clear determination to follow through with what she started. She will be truly missed. She passed peacefully with her son and daughter-in-law by her side, and she is now at peace and in heaven. What an incredible life she has led and was an inspiration to many people, and she helped countless people throughout her time on earth. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 29th, 10:00am at the Riverside Park in New Smyrna Beach. A reception will follow at the American Legion Post # 285 in Edgewater, FL

Why I don’t know, but they Edgewater City Council made me veteran of the year with another guy DANNY. He is something else he’s way better than those way more than I do. I’m very humbled. I was also the grid Marshall get in the parade. Very proud of that. I really miss you. I love you. Is that a day go by but I don’t think of you maybe Noah just had his one year birthday and Emma’s now six I want to thank you again for being the best mom in the world. Divorce is so uncommon back in the very early 60s and being alone with a child but you rocked it. You did great. You helped me be the man I am today and I am so thankful. I love you
Your great grandson, baby Noah just celebrated his first birthday, December 26 he was born very very sick in the NICU and had chest tubes but you never know it. he’s a little chunky monkey.
For some reason, they made me the veteran of the year for the City of Edgewater. I am so humbled. I share that honor with a guy I know who does way more than I do named DANNY.
He also made me the grand marshal again of the parade. Wow I remember bringing the banner they had on my vehicle when he was in the Alzheimer’s unit and how happy you were.
I really miss you. Wreaths Across America was great this year so it was a 911 Veterans Day Memorial Day in Pearl Harbor ceremony you know I coordinate this they came off without a hitch Lisa I miss you. She fell not too long ago and actually broke her kneecap and I ended up with some blood clots in my lungs But they’re getting treated so it’s been a little crazy around here.
The little gray lady, your dog is you call her is doing very well Delilah the others are doing good too
Getting a lot accomplished
The appendix cancer has been contributed to the exposure. I got in the military and desert storm. The VA has made me 100% disabled because of the health issues from direct exposure. I am so thankful this is really helping financially but also much much more importantly, Lisa has health insurance for the rest of her life and if I do go first, she will get my VA 100% disability money. I know you were always worried about that.
Things are going good you’re the apple of my eye. We’ve been through a lot, but you’ve always been beside me. You sacrifice so much for me when I was little being divorced merely 60s with a child was not easy but you were a champion you taught me so many great things and help me to be the man that I am today so all of the trophies and medals I got for sports all the accolades I’ve gotten for everything I’ve ever done. I directly attribute to you. all right you soon I love you.
