Obituary

 

DJ (Hunt-Barton) Walker, May 1, 2005-November 16, 2021. DJ was such a pure, innocent, good natured young man, who loved hanging out with family and friends. He was so excited about his recent accomplishments and his future was so bright. He looked forward to learning more about ROTC and joining the military after high school. He was the exact definition of an Angel on earth.  Now he’s gone home to be with God, and we have to rejoice in knowing he will no longer suffer in this cruel life that he did not deserve. DJ’s wings are ready, our hearts are not. DJ is preceded in death by his Grandmother Patricia Denklau and Grandfathers John Walker and Richard Denklau. DJ is survived by his father Joseph Walker, Mothers Judy Kelly, Shelly Roath and Tiffany Hunt, sisters Destiny Roath, Daniella Roath and Catie Walker. Aunt Chris and Uncle Aron Burkey. Many many more aunts, uncles and cousins. DJ we love you and until we meet again, May you find the peace now, that you always deserved.

    My sweet boy, I love you so so much. You’ve taken a piece of my heart to heaven with you. You were mine before you were ever born. I loved you all your like and I will continue to love you for the rest of mine. You deserved so much more than what this cruel world gave you. I pray you’re looking down on us from your place beside Jesus in heaven and can see how many people miss you and love you. How many lives you touched in your short life. I will never be ok with not having you here with us, but I will do my best to fill your shoes and keep everyone laughing and smiling. I pray you now have the peace and love you’ve always deserved. My Son. I love you. Until we meet again, RIP my darling boy. You are missed more than you could ever imagine.
