Never knew she attended the University of Maryland - I got my B.S. and M.Ed. from there. Loved the Ocean City connection - went there every summer growing up. Wish we had discussed that.
She will be remembered...and missed.
Dear Doris, I met you three times in my life, including twice in Poland. I will always cherish those moments. I will never forget the night we cheered for the Polish men’s volleyball team in Gdańsk. Your energy undoubtedly helped Poland win the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship. Your spirit and enthusiasm will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.
Picture is of Doris and TJ white kitty at their beach home. He was one of several cats receiving Doris love and care when the world left them out in the cold. Thank you Doris for your love of all creatures and all of us! You help us each to be so much better because we knew you! ❤️
Doris was a very special lady and friend. My deepest condolences to you and family.
She will be so missed, I will think of her even more when I come to the Ocean City, Md
beach, where we met in '78 and driving around Annapolis area where she worked.
Sending lots of hugs and prayers,
