We are sorrowful of the passing of Dorothy Cannon on July 25th 2022, in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Dorothy was welcomed into this world on May 14th 1956. She is accompanied on her passing by gaining her wings with her mother (Emma Geno), Father (William Geno), Nephew (Donald Geno) and Grandson (James Cannon). Survived by her Husband (Kevin Cannon), daughter (Melessia Cannon), Son (James B. Cannon), brothers (Edward, Mary sister in law and family and William Sister in law Dolores and family), grandchildren (Jazmyne Covert, Cindy Taylor, Brittany Cannon, Kaitlyn Meyers, and Lillybelle Cannon), great granddaughter (Emma Lou Wommack)  and great grandson (Ezra Taylor). Dorothy graduated from Lakeside High School in Georgia. Then continued her education at DBCC for accounting. Dorothy loved her family. She loved to express herself by drawing, and reading. Dorothy grew up in Florida and Georgia. She found herself through the old western culture. She always had a smile on her face, especially around her loved ones. She was the one to laugh at anything. Growing up with two brothers couldn’t have been easy, especially being the oldest but she loved every bit of it. Dorothy loved to ride on the back of a bike and feel the wind in her hair. The thing Dorothy admired the most was to be surrounded by her family and loved ones.
