In Loving Memory of Dorothy A. Decker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dorothy A. Decker, who died peacefully after a short illness on December 27, 2025, at the age of 85 at Tidewell Hospice in Arcadia, Florida. Born on September 2, 1940 in Middletown NY, she graduated from Fair Lawn High School in 1958 She married and moved to Hamilton Square NJ to raise her family. After retirement, she moved with her husband to Cape Coral and finally settling in Port Charlotte, Florida. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness enriched the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert, and her sons: Robert (Dorothy), Patrick (Nina), Brian (Lori), and Kevin (Bea). Dorothy was a cherished grandmother to Denise, Christopher, Alexis, Kaitlin, Nicole, Ty, and Liam. Her family was her greatest pride. She also found immense joy in dancing with her friends, spending many Friday and Saturday nights line dancing.

She was predeceased by her parents, Chester and Anne Bradshaw, and her brother, John Bradshaw. Dorothy’s legacy of love and devotion lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

May she rest in eternal peace.
