Obituary
DOROTHY ELAINE WILSON
Our Mom, Grandmother and Friend went home to be with
the Lord “January 13, 2018”
She was known to all as “Elaine”.
Elaine was born in Daytona Beach, Fl. on November 24th,
1939. She graduated from Mainland High School. She was a
full time housewife for several years and then went on to
be a secretary for Shover Builders in Daytona Beach for a
few years. Later moving to New Smyrna Beach, Fl., she
started working for K-Mart on State Hwy. 44, NSB, as a
customer service clerk. After K-Mart closed its doors,
Elaine started working at Publix on State Hwy 44, NSB.
Elaine never met a stranger, everyone loved her. Her
customers looked for her, so they could go down her
checkout aisle.
She always talked about how much she loved working at
Publix and how her co-workers were part of her family.
Elaine always talked of the young people who worked there
and how wonderful they were to her.
Elaine had a strong Faith in “Jesus” and loved her
family very much. She had a young spirit and loved life.
Another passion of Elaine’s was her love of animals.
Every animal she ever owned were like her children.
Elaine (Mom) was always there for her family, through-
out our lives. If only there were more Elaines out there,
the world would be truly blessed.
Elaine is survived by her daughter Jeanne and Son-in-law Donald of Hiawassee GA., son Tracy and Daughter-in-law Allison of New Smyrna Beach, Fl., son Michael and Daughter-in-law Dawn of South Carolina, son Chris, brother Joe and sister-in-law
