Obituary
Dwight “Skip” Walls, 77, of Pierson, FL passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 14, 2024, after a brief illness. Skip was born August 27, 1946, in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Donald and Ada (Riggs) Walls.
Skip worked for Ingersoll-Rand in Clarksburg, WV before the plant closed and he moved his family to Edgewater, FL in 1984. There, Skip worked for Coronado Paint as a production supervisor until his retirement. When he wasn’t working, Skip enjoyed spending time in his woodworking shop, riding his horse, target shooting and working around his farm. He was also a fierce patriot who loved his country. He was passionate about advocating for change for the betterment of his grandchildren and all future generations.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Danny Walls (LaPlata, MD) and two sisters, Hilda Mae Stallman (Bridgeport, WV) and Barbie Mayle (Grafton, WV).
He is survived by his long-time fiancé Lois Stuart (Pierson FL), two daughters, Dana Wall (Edgewater, FL) and Susan Walls (Daytona Beach, FL), three grandchildren, Morgan Walls, Nicole Wall and Gunner Dambaugh and one great-grandson, Callan Willodson. Skip is also survived by three nephews, Danny (Marta) Walls, II, of Atlanta GA, Rob (Libby) Stallman and Jason Stallman of Bridgeport WV and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be planned by the family in the near future.
