Obituary
Edward Fuchs Jr., 84, of Port Orange, Florida passed away on May 10, 2017 at the Florida Hospital Hospice Unit, Daytona Beach, Florida. He was born on October 23, 1932 in Hoboken, New Jersey to late Edward Fuchs Sr. and Mildred Fuchs. Edward was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Lions of South Daytona and he enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with his family and grandkids. He had a wonderful life, and we always had and will always remember the wonderful times we had as a family. Edward retired as a Supervisor from New Jersey Bell in Brick, NJ after 37 years. He also worked as a Security Guard at Daytona International Speedway. He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Teresa Fuchs of Port Orange; his son, Keith Fuchs and his wife Lynne of Narragansett, Rhode Island; his daughter, Kim Letrick and her husband Guy of Brick, New Jersey; his daughter, Jill Gilsenan and her husband Joe of Brick, New Jersey; his daughter, Leah Ludwig and her husband Danny of Naples, Florida; his daughter, Danielle Skipper and her husband Brian of Ormond Beach, Florida; his son, Thomas Fuchs and his husband Michou of Miami, Florida; his brother, Alan Fuchs and his wife Joan; his eight grandchildren, his seven great-grandchildren and his two great-grandchildren that are on the way. A Memorial Mass will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Ormond Beach, Florida, on May 18th at 1:00 p.m. Followed by a reception at Prince of Peace Social Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made in memory of Edward to St. Jude’s. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation, Port Orange, FL.
