Obituary

Edward S. Habuda III, age 36, died on Tuesday, January 19th, 2021, in Daytona Beach, FL.

Edward is survived by his wife, Lashay Habuda, of Daytona Beach, FL, his father Edward Habuda Jr., of Daytona Beach, FL, his mother Cynthia Cougle of Budd Lake, NJ, his children, Thalia, Major, Makiyah and Edward IV, and his siblings Chari-Lynn Ann Habuda, Steven Habuda and Johnny Cougle. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eileen Shupe and Don Mack Shupe, and paternal grandparents, Marion Habuda and Edward Habuda SR and cousin T.C. Terrill.

Edward was born on August 5th, 1984 in Denville, NJ to parents Cynthia Cougle and Edward Habuda Jr. He graduated from Whippany Park High School in 2002 and spent a semester at Lincoln Tech Vocational School. Edward worked in the landscaping and snowplowing industry for several years and eventually started his own company in Budd Lake, NJ.

Edward was a great family man and a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He married Lashay Habuda on November 15th, 2017 in Flanders, NJ and the couple had 3 children together.

Edward was a social and active man who was deeply involved in the Palmetto Park Community. He enjoyed fires, spending time with his kids, sports, visiting the beach, camping, spending time with friends. His family and friends will always remember him as an outgoing and charismatic person who was also known as the life of the party.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday January 30th, 2021, at 2pm, and is being held at The Lord’s House of Worship located at 753 Tennessee St., Daytona Beach, FL 32114. Pastor Gilliard will be officiating the services. Donations can be made to the Mental Health Association of NJ.
