Things Dad Loved
who was loving and kind,
And often he knew
what we had on your mind.
He was someone who listens,
suggests, and defends
Our dad could be one
of our very best friends!
He was proud of our triumphs
but when things went wrong
Our dad could be patient
and helpful and strong.
In all that we do,
our dad's love played a part
There was always a place for him
deep in our heart.
And each year that passed
we were even more glad,
More grateful and proud
just to call him our dad!
Thank you, Dad .
for listening and caring
for giving and sharing
but, especially, for just being you!
We love you and miss you dearly dad! May God comfort our mom and the rest of our family until we are all together again.
We love you Dad.
