Obituary

We celebrate the good life of Edwin Cooper. His loving wife Catherine of 67 years, who he met on a deer hunting trip living in Grantsburg WI, enjoyed his adventurous personality.  He leaves his daughter Laura, and sons Michael, Gary, and David.

Our family enjoyed a youth of camping trips, archery, pistols, and mentoring in the basement workshops in every home we lived in. Our Dad was an example and provider, always teaching and leading us boys. Our sister and her children and grandchildren were also always in his heart and mind.

He served our country as a WWII Navy Veteran and as a medical imaging repairman, retiring with honors after twenty-years. Edwin and Catherine spent thirty retirement years building, and expanding, their country home near Gary’s ranch.

We miss him and look forward to being together again.

Dad I miss you very much, your loving smile and your positive spin on life. You taught us well and I believe we are better people because of you and mom teaching us the values in life and to be honorable people. Thank you for all of your love and support. I will always hold you dear to my heart!!!

I’ll really miss my loving Dad. He taught me what work ethic really is. I remember all the camping trips to the Black Hills and Yellowstone. Also day trips to Carlos Avery to learn about shooting targets. We even had a Thanksgiving in the wild there. I love and will miss you Dad.

I am so grateful that Uncle Eddie stepped into my life after the death of my dad, his brother, over 30 years ago. Regular check ins to make sure I was ok and new that I mattered to someone. He gave me so much history of that side of my family that I can now share with others. Our sincere condolence's to Cathy, Gary, Mike, David and families in the loss of a wonderful man. Jann & Jerry Kline
