Obituary

Edwin “Buddy” H. Hall, 70 of Oak Hill died Saturday, August 27, 2011 with his family by his side.  A memorial service will be held 2 pm Friday, Sept. 2 at the Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society, 1 N. Causeway, New Smyrna Beach.  Ed was born December 13, 1940 in Wheelwright, KY.  He served his country with the United States Army as a Staff Sargent and was honorably discharged in 1967.  Ed married the love of his life, Dianne Prater on July 13, 1961.  They moved to Florida in 1972 from Michigan.  Ed owned and operated Edwin H. Hall Land Surveying, Construction and Real Estate.  He was a family man who was devoted to his wife and children.  He would lend hand to friend at any time of day.  His kindness and friendship were one of a kind.  Ed enjoyed reading, military history, playing cards and traveling with his family.  Ed is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, three devoted children, Ed Hall, Jr., Vickie Hall and Rebecca Johnson; four grandchildren, Stephen, Amanda, Christopher and Caroline; six great grandchildren, Alexa, Ava, Camden, Eli, Kyleigh and Lily and two sisters, Dallas Prater and Violet Twaddle. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM, Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place, 1 N. Causeway, New Smyrna Beach.

    My condolence to the family. Soon Almighty God will end all suffering including sickness, old-age and death (Rev.21:4). Just as Jesus Christ with Almighty God's power resurrected his friend Lazarus who had been dead for 4 days, he will bring back to life all those in the memorial tombs today (John 5:28,29 and 11:38-44). I really look forward to that!
