Obituary
Eleanor C. Robinson, age 97, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Page Healthcare Center, Fort Myers, Florida. She was born April 6, 1920 in Gardiner, Maine to Lloyd and Hester Calderwood. Her Mom died when she was 6 weeks old and was raised by her Aunt Bess and Russ Whitmore on the island of Vinalhaven, Maine.
She was a long-time resident of Agawam, Massachusetts but spent the last year of her life living in Fort Myers Beach. She loved sewing, knitting, crocheting, bingo, playing cards with the girls on Monday nights and watching her beloved Red Sox. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Randolph M. Robinson. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Ernest R. Tetreault (Sonny). She is survived by her daughter, Judith R. Tetreault of Feeding Hills, MA. son, Ted R. Robinson and daughter-in-law Diane Wernsing of Fort Myers Beach, FL.; seven loving grandchildren, Sharon Reyome and husband Robert of Westfield,MA, Steven Tetreault and wife Marybeth of Agawam, MA, Brian Tetreault and wife Holly of East Longmeadow, MA, Glen Tetreault and fiance Erin of Middletown, NJ, Michael Robinson and wife Blair of Scottsdale, AZ, Kelly Robinson and Aaron Sweetman of Charlton, MA and Jeffrey Robinson and Tonya Miranda of Pittsfield, MA. She also had 15 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to the committal service at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA, Friday, April 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Agawam Fire Department 1200 Springfield Street, Agawam, MA 01030.
