Life Celebration for Eleanor Helen Steiner, New Smyrna Beach, FL who died July 10, 2013 will be 11:30AM Sunday, August 4 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 485 Turnbull Bay Road, New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Eleanor was born in Detroit, MI and retired with her husband Joseph to New Smyrna Beach in 1983. She was an avid golfer for over 50 years having made three holes-in-one. She was a member of Sugar Mill Country Club. Her family and friends remember her as a wonderful, loving mother and doting grandmother. Eleanor was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and sang in the choir for 25 years. An excellent scholar and athlete, Eleanor won the Detroit newspaper spelling bee and a pentathlon.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children Cheryl and Cyrus Tucker of New Smyrna Beach, Mark Steiner of Watervliet, MI, grandchildren Darian Tucker of Winter Park FL, Kori and Ryan Johnson of New Lenox, IL and Brandy Brown of Grand Rapids, MI.
