Obituary

Elizabeth “Beth” Anne Isaacs, 79, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 26, 2024, in Orlando, Florida, after a sudden and aggressive battle with cancer.

Born on February 13, 1945, in Richmond, Indiana, Beth was the beloved daughter of the late Albert W. and Ruth (Kuehn) Fellinger. She attended St. Mary’s School, where she was a cheerleader, and graduated from Anderson High School in 1963. On June 15, 1963, Beth married David Isaacs, who preceded her in death in 1984.

She later earned an Associate degree in Computer Programming from Indiana Vocational Technical College and held technical support positions with Microsoft and Oracle for more than 20 years. After retiring, she remained a social and active woman devoted to the Catholic faith.

In her leisure time, Beth enjoyed reading, gardening, playing cards with her ‘card club’ friends, traveling (with Hawaii being her favorite), shopping with her family, and spending time with loved ones. She was a movie buff, particularly fond of black-and-white films of the 1940s and 1950s, as well as history shows.

Beth is survived by her three children: Karen Isaacs Brading, James Isaacs (Lisa), and Kevin Isaacs (Jessica). She is also survived by her brother, William Fellinger (Barbara), and sister-in-law Brenda Fellinger. Beth leaves behind nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, with an eighth expected in January 2025. Additionally, she is lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and former spouse, Beth was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles “Bill” Hewitt; her brother, Robert Fellinger; and her two sisters, Barbara Gragg and Beverly Myers.
