Obituary
Elizabeth Ann (Froio-Bullock) Nickerson, 82 years of age of Edgewater, FL formerly of Walpole, MA passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023.
Cherished Daughter of Elizabeth (Pitaro) and Nicola Froio. Adored wife of Charles Nickerson. Loving mother to E. Melanie Levesque (Jonathan) of Harrisville RI, Lynne Delgado (Frank) of Assonet MA, Dean Bullock of Assonet MA, Timothy Bullock (Rose) of Springhill, FL and John Robert Bullock (Christina) of Port St. Lucie, FL whom she shared with her first husband, the late John J. Bullock.
Along with her loving family she leaves behind her church family and many beautiful friends, too many to name.
Betty and Charles shared 43 wonderful years together living in Walpole MA, then became snowbirds for many years, before permanently residing in Edgewater, Florida.
Betty loved to learn. She continued her education as an adult and earned her master’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University. She loved playing bocce ball with her friends of the Italian American Club. She was past president at the Walpole Lodge of Sons of Italy. She was very actively involved in her community through church events and loved campaigning for her favorite political candidate. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, and she spent several weeks working on her Christmas Villages every year.
While raising her young family, Betty was a Tupperware Manager earning a prized station wagon as a team leader of the “Road Runners.” She enjoyed parties and was always willing to help in any way she could. She will be very much missed.
Elizabeth (Betty) leaves behind her beautiful grandchildren, Kirk, Gabrielle, Christina, Janelle, Jared, Elizabeth, Angelia, Bianca, Gianna, Alexis, and Soren. Predeceased by Garrett. She also leaves behind eight, great grandchildren.
Betty was the caring sister of Ricardo Froio (Karen), Rose Marie Presti, Victor Froio (Joanne), and Santina Gerber (Ron). Predeceased by Rachel Pickering, Elaine Kenney and Barbara Longanbach.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for April 29, 2023 from 11-1 PM at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 620 Dunlawton Ave, Port Orange, FL. All are welcome to attend and share in the life of Betty.
