Emma A. Morin, 78, died Sunday, August 23, 2009 surrounded by her loving family at Edgewater Hospice Care Center, Edgewater, FL. Emma was born October 31, 1930, in Eastman, Quebec, daughter of Walter and Belona Laramee. She recently celebrated her fifty-ninth wedding anniversary with her spouse, Marcel G. Morin who survives her. Her sons, Richard, Michael and wife Sharon of Edgewater and daughter, Carol of Key West along with four grandchildren, Amanda, Zachary, Ashley and Christopher also survived her. Her son, Mark predeceased her in 2004. Emma is also survived by two sisters, Collette Lewis of Montpelier, VT and Fern Carvalho of Bristol, Connecticut. Emma and Marcel owned the Border Motel and Dining room in Derby, VT for 21 years and later retired to Edgewater, FL where they have resided for 25 years. Here they owned and operated Big B Liquors which Michael and Sharon now own. They always enjoyed working together and serving the public. Emma’s beautiful smile would light up every room.

A mass celebrating her life will be held at St. Edward’s Parish in Derby Line, VT at 10:00AM, Thursday, September 24, 2009 followed by her burial at Derby Line Cemetery
