Obituary
Erin Elizabeth O’Shaughnessy, 31 of Lehigh Acres died suddenly Friday, May 29 2020. Erin was born on June 1, 1988 in Weymouth, Massachusetts to Neil and Diane (Edmondson) O’Shaughnessy. Since the day she was born, she has been a little “spitfire.” Her personality lit up a room and you could hear her contagious laugh from a mile away. She had a heart of gold and always made friends everywhere she went. She loved animals and her favorite color was lime green. Erin enjoyed life and wanted everyone around her to know she would take the shirt off her back for them. Erin graduated from Middleboro High School, Class of 2006 in Middleboro, MA. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John & Kathleen O’Shaughnessy of North Weymouth; Harold & Mary Edmondson of South Weymouth; aunt and uncle; JoAnne & Roger Clapp of Quincy, MA; aunt, Kathy O’Shaughnessy and uncle, Jack O’Shaughnessy. Erin is survived by her loving parents, Neil & Diane O’Shaughnessy of Edgewater, FL; adored sister, Sarah O’Shaughnessy of New Smyrna Beach, FL; numerous aunts and uncles; Danny Rawdon of Braintree, MA; Nancy O’Shaughnessy of Norwell, MA; Denise & Russ Mazzola of Kingston, MA; Robert & Judy O’Shaughnessy of Marshfield, MA; Sheila Walter of Westminster, CO; Marcia Connolly of Mesa, AZ; and many cousins.
Family & Friends will gather beginning at 12:30 this Friday, June 5, 2020 at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, 1 N. Causeway, New Smyrna Beach 32169 and have a Celebration of Life at 2PM. Graveside services will follow at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater, FL.
Everyone is invited to join the Family for a reception to celebrate Erin upstairs at the Flagler Tavern; 414 Flagler Ave, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169 from 4-7pm following the graveside services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any Animal Shelter or Our2Sons; 17144 Bermuda Village Drive, Boca Raton, FL 33487
