Obituary
Ernest S. Csomo, 82, passed away July 28, 2023. Born and raised in East Chicago, IN, he raised his young family in Highland, IN and later in Bonita Springs, FL. He retired and resided in Blairsville, GA for 22 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Bonnie Petrus Csomo; parents, Steve and Barbara Csomo; Bonnie’s parents, Steve and Elizabeth Petrus and Sharon Petrus Kovacs.
Ernest is survived by brother, Joseph Csomo (Cindy); daughter, Tina Csomo; son, Paul Csomo (Jennifer); daughter, Laura Bennett (Paul); granddaughter, Baylee Dutra (Samuel); grandson, Matthew Csomo; nieces, Deanna Csomo Ferrell (Scott) and Natalia McCool; nephews, Joseph Kovacs, Brandon Csomo(Vicky); sons-in-law; Joseph Post(Amber)and Anhdreu Nquyen( Alissa); as well as great nephews, Lucas and Grayson Nguyen.
As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he loved helping others learn about God’s word and the Bible. Ernest was a source of encouragement to all who would listen. His razor-sharp sense of humor, honesty, intelligence, and love of righteousness are qualities in him that we cherished. We could not ask for a better man to be apart of our family.
