Obituary

Ernest M. Martin, Jr.,80, passed away September 2, 2017 with his loving family around him. He was born March 14, 1937 to Ernest and Bertha Martin in Elkhart, IN.  Ernie loved his country and served proudly in the United States Marine Corps. He loved the outdoors and sharing that love with his grandchildren. He enjoyed camping, fishing and doing this with his loving family. He was known as a hard worker and liked being out in the sun. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Ernest and Bertha Martin; Grandson: Philip Smith. Ernie is survived by his loving Wife of 41 years CaraLee; 4-Daughters: Tracy Tuck (Mike) of Canton GA, Carin Biondi (Lou) of Ocala, FL, Linda Snyder (Bruce) of Queen Creek, AZ and Michelle Madden (Tim) of Washington, OK;  Son: Terry Templeton (Mary) of Summerfield, FL and Ernie Martin (Becky) of Lexington, OK; Sister: Mary Jordan (Bob) of Elkhart, IN; Many Grandchildren and Great grandchildren. The family is planning a Memorial Service at First United Methodist Church’s Chapel in Ocala Friday September 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Marion County for Estelle’s House 2897 SE 62nd Street Ocala, FL 34480

    You were so much of my life as a child and I'll never forget you. Always hands open and stories to last for days. Loved the company of the girls and holding Renee in her preemie days. I love you Uncle Ernie and you will be missed .
