Well Pop, its been a little over a month since you've been gone and you are truly missed. I learned so much from you in my lifetime. You never said "I told you so" even though you knew you could. I miss the talks we had since I've been back home...we still have them, only you don't talk back. I love you and always will.

May 4, 2015 changed my life forever. I lost the best grandpa anyone could ask for. My poppy was the most amazing, caring, loving, affectionate, compassionate, intelligent man I knew. My pop gave me anything and everything was always supportive of everything I wanted to do. I am thankful for always having his encouraging words and lectures of life. I will remember everything he taught me, did for me, the love he had. I will miss the words "I love you Mel". He taught me to always be respectful and honest, work hard in all that you do, always follow through, but most importantly, to love with all I have. I am thankful that God gave me my poppy! I know that you are no longer hurting or tired. I can't wait to see you again oneday.
    I love you always, Mel

Gene was a friend to anyone he met, always willing to help me when I asked him, a man full of wisdom and compassion. Heaven is enriched and Jesus has another willing attendant to help Him prepare for Gene's coming family.

Pops, it has been such a privilege to have had you in my life these past four years!

The extreme closeness and special bond you shared with Tim is one of the most beautiful father/son relationships I’ve ever witnessed. Tim’s devotion, self-motivation, endless knowledge of just about anything (just ask him) and love of racing are just a few characteristics that are a reflection of you!

The love and devotion between you and Rita was such a treasure and a true example of what all couples should aspire too.

Going forward I can say with certainty that you will continue to leave your mark on this earth with the incredible family you’ve left behind.

Pops, you’ve touched the lives of so many people and left your special mark on this world. You will live forever in our hearts!!

    Love you Pops!

Oh Dad. For the past few days since you have been gone, we have mourned knowing that we won't see you again, but more than that, we have laughed...alot. We have had so much fun reminiscing. Looking back, I could not have asked for a better family. You were the best dad that this little girl could have had. You and mom did an incredible job raising us to be the people we are today. I will always love you TO INFINITY AND BEYOND.

Pop you where my rock! Through life my friends where your friends. When My friends and I where young and thought we knew everything you where always there to show us the right way to do things. You always stopped us before and guided us and explained the correct way of doing things. You where full of knowledge that I used even today. You will be missed and I will think of you every day of the rest of my like.
    I love you Pop!!!!!
