Eugene A. Sullivan, 81, of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2021. He was born on October 15, 1939, in Detroit, MI to Michael and Susie Sullivan.

Gene was married for 49 years to his wife Joan, and they have 1 son, Kevin. He was a Veteran of the Army, and a member of the Pipe Fitters Union #636.

Gene will be remembered by his family as a quiet, humble Irishman, with a subtle sense of humor and a keen passion for his family. Known as Papa to his 2 grandchildren, Kaiden and Emma, he will be forever in their hearts. He was admired by his family for his unwavering devotion and genuine kindness.

Gene was predeceased by his mother Susie, father Michael, sister-in-law Alice Sullivan, and brother-in-law John Hynes.

He is survived by his loving wife Joan, son Kevin (Carolyn), grandchildren Kaiden and Emma Sullivan, cherished, devoted sister Susan Hynes, and brother Michael (Kay) Sullivan, along with many additional family members.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 620 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, FL 32127.
