Obituary
Evelyn “Lynn” Irene Autenrieb passed away at age 62 on November 10, 2021 in Inverness, Florida at the Citrus Memorial Hospital due to natural causes. Lynn was born on January 25, 1959 in Hollywood, Florida to her parents Robert and Marilynn McDonough who preceded her in death, and is survived by her loving husband of 33 years (Vincent Autenrieb), 2 sons (Sean & Alexander Autenrieb), her sister Joan Archer, 2 brothers (Michael & Robert McDonough), and several nieces, nephews & great nephews who will all miss her loving and caring soul dearly.
Lynn was proud to be counted among the first class to graduate from Hallandale High School in 1977, and from Barry University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Studies. She began her work life in the Banking industry where she advanced through increasingly more responsible roles until the final decades of her life which she dedicated to the service of others, overseeing the care of her ill mother for many years, volunteering her time to help at her sons’ schools as well as in her local Catholic Parish, while always making time to unselfishly help others whenever needed. After living in south Florida for many years, Lynn moved to Central Florida in 2007 where she spent her remaining time as a loving wife and mother.
Those who knew and loved Lynn say she was an outspoken, kind-hearted, gentle soul who always availed herself to those in need. She was also very proud of her Irish heritage and lit up every room she entered with a sparkle in her eye and a gentle lilt in her voice. She was an inspiration to many and was quick with a motivational saying for every occasion. Some of her favorites:
“May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face…” -Traditional Gaelic Blessing
“May joy and peace surround you, contentment latch your door. And happiness be with you now and bless you evermore.” -Irish Blessing
“We live and die by the choices we make” -Quoting her Grandma

Sean and Alex, I know you will hold on to the memories and the lessons she has taught you. Please know that I love you as if you were my own sons, and that you are most welcome to reach out to me 24/7/365 if ever you need anything!
