Obituary

Joyce Smith, 81, born Evelyn Joyce Noggle on 2/12/1941, passed away peacefully 12/9/22.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Smith; her children, John Graham and Suzanne White; and her three grandchildren.

Joyce has lived in Coral Gables, St. Petersburg, Winter Park, and College Park, Florida and with a ten year adventure in Santa Fe, NM.

Joyce lived her life joyously loving her friends and family, animals, nature, and art. She always had a good book to recommend and a long walking route to share. Her retirement years allowed more time for reading, walking, several Backroads adventures, and numerous cross-country road trips with friends and family.

Joyce was an active volunteer in her church St. Michael’s, enjoying preparing food for the homeless outreach program. At her request, there will be no memorial service. Please go enjoy a walk or a good book and think of her. In lieu of flowers for the family, please consider donating in Joyce’s name to either Florida Little Dog Rescue or to the Youth Fellowship at St. Michael’s Church.
