Evonda Lee Godawa Sibley
A memorial service celebrating the life of Evonda Lee Godawa Sibley, 51 will be Friday April 29 6:00 pm at her sisters home 764 crosswind way in port orange with her family and friends. Evonda was a life long resident in Volusia county. She passed away april 20th after a courageous battle of 9 years to breast cancer. Born, October 2, 1964, to the late Fred Godawa sR. She survived by her fur baby Selene her mom Diana Doyle, her step dad Larry, sister Diana (Scott) Pendleton, brother Fred Godawa jr (Deneen). Nephews Allen Fiscus, Bo and Josh Godawa. Nieces Alaina Fiscus, Noelle and Josie Godawa all of port orange. Uncle Tommy Hager (Aunt Marion) Aunt Linda Cress of Texas, Aunt Frances Allman of Edgewater, Aunt Linda (Uncle Paul) Creech, Aunt Tanya (Uncle Donnie) of Port Orange, many cousins. Best friend of 33 years Becky Grau of Nsb. Graduate of Warner Christian Academy class 1982. Worked as a preschool teacher for 34 years started with Warner Christi preschool and retired from kinder care after 32 years. Her love for animals was endless, whenever she found a lost or hurt animal she helped care for it until she could find it proper care. Amongst many hobbies she enjoyed fishing reading traveling (New York) snowboarding and spending time with family and friends. Donations in her name may be made to Halifax Humane Society or paws for cause.
