Frances Elizabeth Smith Presley, age 95, of Tucker, Georgia passed away on September 26, 2021 of natural causes.

Frances Presley  was born on February 1, 1926 in Swainsboro, Georgia to George and Myrtle Smith.  She earned an Associate’s Degree in Business from Tift College in Macon, Georgia.  She and her husband, Warren Jackson Presley (Jack) were married for more than 50 years.  She raised three boys on a preacher’s salary.  Her volunteer work included service as the President of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church Florida Conference Women’s Auxiliary.

She also held responsible positions as Executive Secretary for a Vice President of the St. Regis Paper Company in Atlanta and for a Miami Municipal Court Judge.

Later in life, she and Jack moved to Daytona Beach, where she spent many years.  Frances remained a strong, independent woman after Jack’s passing in 1999.  She enjoyed participating in church and community activities.  In 2016, Frances moved to Tucker, Georgia to be closer to her two sons, Rodney and Ike Presley, a granddaughter and great-granddaughters.  She made her home at Northlake Gardens.

Frances Presley is survived by sons Rodney (Ardith) and Ike (Kathy); granddaughters Sarah Joann Presley and Victoria Fleury (Peter); and two great granddaughters (Kate and Madison).  She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Jackson Presley;  sister,  Nell Smith Stanford; and son, Warren Allen Presley.

A memorial of her life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Baldwin Brothers, 620 Dunlawton Ave, Port Orange, FL 32127. She will be laid to rest with her beloved Jack at Greenwood Cemetery in Daytona, Florida.
