Frances Anne White Stultz of Winter Park went to her heavenly home on November 6, 2023. Frances Anne was born in Birmingham, Alabama on December 12, 1936, to Mr. and Mrs. James Linton (Genevieve)White, Jr. She was predeceased by her parents as well as her husband of 52 years, Richard Newland Stultz.
Frances Anne graduated from Landon High School, Jacksonville Florida in 1954 and Hollins College, Roanoke Virginia in 1958. Frances Anne and Richard were married in 1959 and moved to Central Florida.
She is survived by her brother James Linton White III and sisters Mary Ellen Clark, Donna Jean (Bill) Dooley and Peggy (Mike) Lester. She leaves behind her six children that absolutely adored her, Barbara (Jeff) Ricke, Rick Stultz, Mary Kay (Mark) Pickering, Terry (Dave) Kilborn, Margie (David) McIntosh, and Patricia (Lance Jr.) Walker. She also leaves behind her 15 grandchildren, Matthew (Ali) Ricke, Mary Beth (Gerett) Blouin, David Ricke, James (Caitlin) Ricke, John (Meredith) Pickering, Andrew (Elizabeth Anne) Pickering, Anne (Griffin) Peek, Katie (Trey) Sinyard, Elizabeth (William) Weir, Bradley (Sarah) Kilborn, Lance Walker III, Sarah (Troy) Drinkwater, Caroline (Harrison) Monk, Will Walker and Madeline McIntosh. She leaves behind 10 great grandchildren, Caroline Ricke, Carter, Emmie and Colin Blouin, John Milton and Vivian Pickering, Bea Pickering, William and Charlie Weir, and Anne Monk. Frances Anne leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Frances Anne was an active parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Winter Park, since 1967. Her love of music brought her joy which was demonstrated through her participation in the church choir as well as being a member of the bell choir at St. Margaret Mary. A trip of a lifetime to Rome with the church choir was highlighted by a performance by the choir for Pope John Paul II in The General Assembly.
Frances Anne’s love for music was manifested by her partiality for Irish music, especially the music of Celtic Thunder. Her favorite member of Celtic Thunder was Emmet Cahill and attending his concerts brought her so much joy. Frances Anne was a proud member of the Emmet Cahill Official Street Team.
Frances Anne loved to travel, most often with Richard. His work allowed the two of them to see the world. But many of her best trips were the annual vacations with Richard, their children and grandchildren.
Frances Anne loved sports of all kinds. She often talked about her memories of listening to baseball on the radio with her Daddy. She always loved baseball and college football. She loved her Cubbies, especially her favorite, Ryne Sandberg.
Frances Anne was active in Junior Sorosis of Orlando and played bridge with dear friends.
Frances Anne was graceful and wise beyond words and the true matriarch of her family. Her witness of faith, compassion, and love, and her wisdom of knowing exactly what to say to soothe the heart will be forever cherished.
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future” (Proverbs 31:25)
A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM and a Funeral Mass officiated by the Rev. Richard M. Walsh will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, both at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church Chapel, 526 Park Avenue, Winter Park on Tuesday, November 28th. A private family burial service for Frances Anne will follow.
