Obituary
Mr Francis (Frank) White, Jr, age 74, of Ocala, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8th, 2022.
Frank is survived by his two daughters, Crystal Whitehorn of Jamestown, NC and Brina Clark of Fayetteville, NC; four grandchildren, Hunter, Amber, Coulsen, and Calum; and three siblings John F. White, Eddie White, and Kay Gish. He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra White, his father Frank White, Sr. and his mother Frances Fox.
Frank was born on January 11, 1948 in Charleston, SC to Frank and Frances White. He spent many years being raised within the Salvation Army of which his parents were officers. He had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He joined the United States Marine Corps as a Rifleman and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal during Vietnam and earned the Good Conduct Medal in 1969. He received an “Honorable “ discharge from service in 1970 and, as all who know him could attest, lived his life “once a Marine – always a Marine.”
He met the love of his life, Sandy Fletcher and married her March 4th 2000. Together, they travelled much of the United States via the open road as both partners in life and in business in commercial trucking. Frank had an unwavering love for Sandy and motorcycles and the two bonded in many years of motorcycle enthusiasm. Frank spent his later years in life with Sandy RVing and taking life in.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Tuesday, April 12th at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, Heritage Place Chapel, 954 E Silver Springs Blvd between 3-5pm. Jason Whitehorn will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Frank’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Salvation Army at 2901 NE 14th St. Ocala, FL 34470. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at Sunshine Health, Estelle’s House, and Arbor Springs for their care.
Frank wil l be misse by many. I salute you Frank for your service.
