Life Celebration for Frank Sabo, 88, Edgewater Fl who died June 8, 2018 will be held on Monday July 18th from 5-7 pm at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach FL 32169. Then will continue on Tuesday July 19th at 11:00 am at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens.
Frank was born in Tovarnik, he served in the Yugoslavian military then migrated to Brazil to pursue his education. In 1961 he came to the United States. He worked as a master machinist and specialized in the leather industry. He was well known as an innovator in his field. During his career he worked for Swank and Dooney & Bourke. He was an extremely driven and intelligent man who worked well into his later years. Because of this and his vast knowledge of the industry, his work allowed to him to travel to many countries to train others in this field. He also had a great passion for cooking and entertaining for his family and friends. He was a wonderful man who loved his family, and will be missed by many.
Survived by his wife Maryann Sabo, daughter Olga Rizvan, stepson Jeff Mikesic, five grandchildren, Rocky Rizvan, Leiyla Rizvan, Meliya Rizvan and Stephanie Robles. Eight great grandchildren Joshua Robles, Therezina Sabo-Robles, Eli Sabo-Robles, Elijah Rizvan, Johnny Gorman, Sam Gorman, Roger Swift III, and Lulejeta Swift. He was proceeded by his first wife Therezina Sabo, son Steve Sabo, son in law Sam Rizvan, grandson Eli Sabo, two brothers, and many other wonderful family and friends.
