Obituary
Frank Edward Fogle, 97, of Leesburg, Florida passed away on May 2, 2020. He was born in Lockport, IL on April 30, 1923. He graduated from Joliet Highschool and worked as a self-employed carpet and floor covering installer. Frank served his country in the US Army Signal Corps in Germany during WWII. He has been married for a total of 56 years to his High School sweetheart, Joyce Fogle (Offner).
Frank belonged to the Masons, Shriners, Eagles, VFW, and Gary, IN Sportsmans Club. His hobbies include Bowling with a Capital B, Camping with the grandkids, Casinos plus video slots on the computer, travel, and parasailing at the age of 92. (He who was afraid of both water and heights). Most of all he loved his family and just being with them.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and a sister.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Fogle; Daughters Carol Fogle Brogan (Jim), Nancy Fogle Barron (Joe), Ruth Fogle Daughenbaugh (Ray), Lisa Fogle Lennex (Al), and Sara Fogle Koontz (Ron) Sister Betty Holt (Sheldon); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations requested to be made to the Shriner’s Hospital.
