Frank served in the Hungarian army as a young man. Frank emigrated from Hungary with his wife and young children in 1972 in the hopes of a better life for his children and future generations. He was excited to become a United States citizen in 1985. He was also very proud of the fact that both his daughters and now all of his granddaughters completed college. That was truly a part of his American Dream.
Frank worked for Hummel Brothers in New Haven CT for 32 years, retiring in 2005. Frank enjoyed gardening, woodworking, cooking, and barbecuing. He made many things from scratch, from homemade wine and fresh sausages (hurka and kielbasa) to step stools and he loved to share his talents with those around him. He especially loved his bacon frying get togethers which all of his grandchildren looked forward to! Frank and his wife, Maria moved to New Bern NC, in 2017 and then to Ormond Beach in 2021 in order to enjoy the year round outdoors.
