Obituary
Frank Wilson, M.D., 88, a resident of Fort Myers, Florida, passed peacefully into eternal life Thursday, the afternoon of January 19th while in the care of Memory Care of Naples, following a recent illness.
Born on Monday, November 26, 1934 in Clarksville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Jack House and Margaret (Rosson) Wilson. Educated in the Tennessee schools, Dr. Wilson furthered his education by attaining his doctorate in medicine from the University of Tennessee.
Prior to his retirement, Dr. Wilson was employed as a doctor of obstetrics and gynecology.
In his spare time, and enjoying the outdoors, he was an avid golfer.
Dr. Wilson held membership previously in the First Baptist Church of Clarksville, Tennessee and locally in the First Baptist Church of Naples.
Above all else, he is remembered as being a loving and devoted husband and father to his adoring family. His physical presence will be greatly missed by all those he touched in this life.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, the former Crystal Joy (Porter) Wilson. Children, including Darci Wilson, Frank Todd Wilson, Dan Wilson, Benjamin Scott Karns; six grandchildren; numerous former patients, colleagues and dear friends.
Memorial funeral services for Dr. Wilson will be held at a future date in his hometown of Clarksville, Tennessee.
The Naples location of Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society is honored to care for Dr. Wilson and his family at this time.
