Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Fred Lloyd Jackson Jr., who departed this life on November 22, 2024, in DeLand, Florida. Born on September 21, 1949, in Longview, Texas, Fred dedicated his life to serving others, both as a proud member of the United States Air Force and as a compassionate Registered Nurse. He approached his work with unwavering commitment and heartfelt care, and he found joy in cheering for his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
Fred is survived by his wife, Tara; daughters, Kimberly Jackson Hunter (Roy) and Felicia Jackson; sons, Fredrick (Champ) Jackson (Hannah Lovins), Jayson Blondin, and Daniel Jackson (Amber); grandchildren, Kori, Rylee, Kenidee, Faith, Denaysia, Alexander, Luca, Daniel Jr., Akai, Prince, and Kyler; and his brother, James Wade (Virgie). He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Lloyd Jackson Sr. and Rev. Lorene Jackson (Wright).
A service with full military honors will take place on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
