Obituary

Fred Strelec, 75 beloved husband , father, and grandfather passed away September 17, 2024. He was born in Morris Township, New Jersey. Fred worked 25 years for Morris Township Sewer department as the Maintenance Supervisor. Retiring to Ocala, Florida, where he enjoyed golfing, playing cards building models and Sudoku. Survived by his wife Mary Jean (MJ) nee De Vito ; son Scott Strelec and wife Erin; Lynn Strelec Delgado and husband Luis as well as his beloved grandchildren, Cian and Brayden.

    Dear MJ & Family, I am so sorry to hear of Freddie passing. Fairchild fire company has his last call on the billboard, which is a wonderful tribute to Freddie. My heart goes out to you MJ, and know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Freddie, you were one of the good guys! Love to all

    To a dear new friend - Freddie, I'm going to miss your great sense of humor, talking over your masterpiece wooden puzzles and maybe poking a bit of fun with MJ. Thank you for your service to keep this country safe. I am forever grateful to have met you my friend - missing you so much already.
