My mother Freda King was called home to be with her Father the Lord Jesus and her son Kenneth the day of June 22, 2009. She was placed on this earth on September 12, 1923. Given to her parents Lula and Luther Davis of Bloomingdale, GA. She attended school at Chatham High School and graduated from Miss Sally School of Cosmetology in Savannah, GA. She worked for Morrison’s Cafeteria and later for Lamerick Beauty systems in Savannah. Freda moved to Wilbur-by-the-Sea and later to Ponce Inlet, in 1959. She resided at 41 Cindy Lane until the Hurricane’s five years ago. She has one daughter, Dana Enterkin-Fisher and her husband Roger Fisher of Port Orange; two grandchildren, John C. Davis and his wife, Sandra of Edgewater and Melanie Turner and her husband, Count of South Daytona; six great grandchildren, Lauren, Jordan and Austin Davis, Lauren Bessette, Kyle Malone, Ryan Malone; two great great grandchildren, Ayla and Anthony Davis; two brothers, Watson Davis who perished in Holland during Operation Market Garden and Earl Davis and family who reside in Ponce Inlet and two nieces, Julie & Ellie Davis.
