Obituary

Predeceased by his parents, Violet (Sudduth) and JB McKennon, brother Jerry and many fond relatives. Survived by his loving wife Mary Ann, his daughter Carla (Mark) Oliver, stepdaughters Colleen Fitzpatrick, Molly (Kevin) Merkel, Ann (Pete) O’Dell and 9 grandchildren and many relatives.

Fred was certainly unique, loved his country.
His River of life ran through everywhere in nature-from the mountains to the desert to the ocean. He was haunted by water and had the talent to capture that beauty in his art. He could sit forever outside watching and reflecting on nature. (Sometimes he even thought he was God!) those who knew him appreciated his “always right, humble” point of view. He was taken from us early but was amazed how far he lived beyond his own expectations.

Go rest high on that Mountain. Catch that big one. Keep on kicking butt, Fred. We know you will leave your mark up there just like you did down here.

We are so sorry to learn of Fred's passing. We felt very fortunate to have such a great couple move next door to us. We wish we would have had our time in Florida this winter to get to know him better. We will most certainly miss his smile and our "across the yard chats". Our very deepest sympathy to Mary Ann and family.
    Sincerely,
    Steve and Liz
