  1. MICHAEL H GELMAN says:

Freddy was my first cousin-the only son of my Aunt Elaine and Uncle Ronnie. In the early 1950's, I do have memories that we used to play together at a bungalow colony that both our families stayed at 1-2 summers. I went to his Bar Mitzvah in 1960 or 61 at a synagogue in Yonkers NY and the reception was held in the evening at the TAPPAN ZEE restaurant which I believe was in Nyack or Tarrytown, NY. He came to my Bar Mitzvah in 1965 where the reception was held at the Park Terrace which was across the street from the Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. Freddy's nickname for me was "Cupcake"-why I do not know. He was a great guy and I really liked him a lot. But I did not see him that often. May his memory be for an eternal blessing and may he rest in eternal peace. Amen.
