Obituary

Frederick V. Pfafman, 86, of North Fort Myers, FL, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at his residence.  Born on February 19, 1936 in Washington, DC to the proud parents of Robert F. and Lucille (Litz) Pfafman, Fred was a retired electronics engineer witKearfotta Division of Singer Corporation, along with working at other companies.  He was a proud member of IEEE, The Gideons, AOPA (a pilot organization) and various computer clubs.  Fred was a member with Campers on Mission, was a former treasurer at several previous Baptist Churches, a member of North Fort Myers Baptist Church, was part of Baptist Disaster Relief in Arkansas, was Arkansas State manager for Holiday Rambler and he proudly served as a US Marine Corp Veteran.  A private pilot with certifications in commercial & instructor flying, glider, helicopter, seaplane and others, Fred truly loved flying, along with puzzles of all types and his computer interests and clubs. 

Survivors include his beloved wife of over 39 years, Judy Pfafman of N Ft Myers; his daughter, Lynn Wicker of TX; a brother, James (KC) Pfafman of AZ; his sister, Bobbi (Jim) Lavigne of AZ; five grandchildren: Andrew (Catherine) Wicker of TX, Adam Wicker of FL, Amanda Wicker of TX, Britney Pfafman of CA and Cameron Pfafman of CA; one great-granddaughter, Eloise Wicker of TX; a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Pfafman of CA along with cousins and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. & Lucille (Litz) Pfafman and his son, David Frederick Pfafman. 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at North Fort Myers First Baptist Church, 75 Evergreen Road, North Fort Myers, FL 33903
