Obituary
Frederick Williams Sr, 80 passed away on March 3,2021 peacefully at his home in Tavares, Florida. He was born on June 10,1940 in Atlantic City New Jersey to John and Dorothy [Chapell] Williams.
Fred worked in heating and air conditioning for thirty plus years throughout south Jersey until he retired in 1995.
He served in the US Navy from 1958-1961 as a Seamen on the USS Bache DD 470 out of Norfolk, Virginia.
Fred lived in Wildwood Florida the pass 17 years and was well known for being the “lawnmower man” as he repaired lawnmowers and small engines as a hobby.
His other hobbies included being an avid bowler; and played on leagues for more then twenty years, fishing, classics cars and family.
Fred is preceded in death his parents, John and Dorothy, two brothers John and Charles, two sons Robert Williams and James Williams.
He is survived by his brother Harvey [Maryann} Williams of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, three daughters Ruthann [David] Armenta of Pasadena, California, Gloria Shay of Tavares, Florida, Connie [Charles] Estep of Byesville, Ohio. Son Frederick Williams Jr of Milford, Delaware. Six stepchildren. Linda Williams of Ohio, Jerry Williams and Betty Yeager of Pennsylvania, Rick [Jennifer] Kindt of Ocklawaha, Florida, William Kindt of Cambridge Ohio and Daniel Kindt of Lamar, Missouri. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Fred was a beloved father, grandfather and friend to many. He will be deeply missed and remembered by all.
Per request, memorial services will be private. Burial services will be at the National Veterans Cemetery in Bushnell Florida set for a later date.
