Obituary
Fredrick Rochefort of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on October 21, 2025, in North Fort Myers, Florida.
Fredrick was born in Fayette, Michigan to Ida and Fredrick Rochefort on May 24, 1928, and grew up on a family farm in Garden, Michigan. He married Donna Mae Jaynes on July 29, 1950. They moved to Detroit, Michigan where he became a skilled tradesman in the automotive industry. He retired in 1988 and they were snowbirds. They moved back to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for the summer and North Fort Myers, Florida for the winter where they eventually lived at Horizon Village full time. Fredrick enjoyed shuffle board, playing cards, bowling, and helping with the clubhouse activities.
Fredrick was widowed by Donna, his wife, on June 8, 2025, and is deeply missed by son, Marvin Rochefort; daughters, Roseanna (Dan) Lyden, Pamela (John B.) Chapoton; four grandchildren, John M. Chapoton, Scott Chapoton, Kevin Chapoton and Melissa Wilson; five great-grandchildren, Jefferson Chapoton, Conrad Chapoton, Ashleigh Chapoton, Emma Chapoton, and AbbyGail Chapoton; three great-great grandchildren, Charlotte Chapoton, Caeleigh Chapoton, and Camreigh Chapoton; and brother, Gene Rochefort.
No funeral services will be held at this time.
