Obituary

Fred W. King, 90 passed away June 20, 2017 in Ocala, Florida.Born to Maxwell and Margret King on September 1, 1926 in Miami, Florida. He moved to Marion County 40 years ago from Miramar, Florida. He was a retired airline mechanic and a Veteran of the United States Navy serving as a Gunner during WWII.

He will be inurned at a later date in Florida National Cemetery.

    He was part of the GREATEST GENERATION having
    served during WWll. And for his MILITARY SERVICE to
    The UNITED STATES of AMERICA.
    We became friends about 15yrs ago. We have enjoyed
    many conversations. I will miss him deeply.
